This look and these photos are from my absolute favorite night in Bora Bora. It was hands down the most romantic evening that I’ve ever experienced aside from the night that Ryan proposed. He sure does know how to spoil me! We were actually joking that night that we both felt like he was about to propose at any moment. While I would do anything to relive the night that Ryan proposed and our wedding night, one of the best things about the honeymoon was that Ryan and I finally had the chance to just spend time with each other, without talking or worrying about the wedding.
We started the evening with a private sunset boat cruise. Our adorable captain, Tau, served us drinks – rum punch for me, Tahitian beer for Ryan – all while driving the boat and serenading us with his ukulele. It was truly a dream. Once the sun set, we were brought to a private island where the most beautiful private table was set for us overlooking the lagoon. We were greeted by our sweet waitress and captain Tau became our chef for the evening. He could literally do it all! He was also an awesome photographer! We had the most incredible Tahitian dinner that was better than any of the food we had the entire trip. It was truly a magical night!
When Ryan and I booked this dinner I knew exactly what I was going to wear. I bought this MISA dress several months before and had been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it. MISA is one of my favorite brands because they make the most romantic dresses. Everything from theย silhouettes and fabrics to the colors and prints are perfect. You can also dress them all up or down. If you’re looking for a unique dress for a special occasion definitely check out MISA. I’ve included a few of my favorite styles below.
