The weather in Canada was like a PERFECT fall day – 65 and sunny blue skies with evening temps chilly enough for a sweater and jeans. It’s been a pretty muggy summer in Chicago so I was super excited to wear some of my fave fall pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
This sweater is an amazing summer to fall transitional piece. It’s medium weight so it can be worn like i’m wearing with jeans on a cool night or during the day with denim shorts or a cute A-line denim skirt and over the knee boots. I’m obsessed with the ruffled cold shoulder sleeves and dusty rose color which is going to be huge this fall. My jeans are the same ones I’m wearing in this post. I’m also in love with these booties I found at the Nsale. They are so cute with just about anything from jeans to shorts or a fun dress and the prefect height! I was a little worried I wasn’t going to be able to wear socks with them but those no-show half footie socks work perfectly! I found some amazing ones at Nordstrom Rack that don’t slip off or get stretched out.
