Faux leather flare pants have been on my wish list for the longest time. I have a few pairs of faux leather leggings – like these – and I love wearing them with sweaters in the winter. Unfortunately, a nice looking pair of leather flare pants can be really difficult to find at a reasonable price point. When I saw this pair of flare cropped leather pants in the Atlantic Pacific x Halogen collection I knew I couldn’t pass them up! They are SO incredibly comfortable and a little more work appropriate than leather leggings. Sadly, there is pretty limited availability but I suggest that you keep checking back to see if any returns come in or check your local Nordstrom! They also come in black!

It’s really nice to have some pants that aren’t jeans or black work pants and the styles I linked have a little more of a “cool factor” than a pair of brown cords or kakis 🙂

I also wanted to mention that my sweater and the shirt underneath are two separate pieces. This is one of my favorite ways to layer in the winter. I have always had a hard time wearing cropped sweaters because I have a short torso. I found that when you layer a light weight blouse underneath it adds just enough length and also makes a cropped sweater more work appropriate. I’m wearing my go to layering blouse in this post and just saw that Loft recently brought it back! This new style has a faint stripe pattern but it definitely still works and would look great Ann Taylor also makes a great version here.
