Today I wanted to share a new product that I recently introduced into my morning and evening skincare routine, Peter Thomas Roth’s PRO Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment. As I’ve shared before, I started to get really bad cystic acne about a year and a half ago. I’m so happy to finally have my cystic acne under control but, unfortunately, I picked all of my pimples and blemishes so now I’m left with a lot of discoloration. I’ve also noticed more and more dark spots showing up from years of laying in the sun!
One of my New Years resolutions that I mentioned in this post is to look and feel more fresh. A big piece of this resolution means taking better care of my skin. My goal is to get my skin to look and feel so fresh that I feel totally comfortable going out without any foundation or base make up on. The main thing that is stopping me from doing that right now is the discoloration I’m dealing with which is why I was really excited to try out PTR’s PRO Strength Niacinamide Discoloration treatment. Not only had I heard wonderful things about Peter Thomas Roth, this specific treatment sounded like exactly what I was looking for.
So far after using it for just a few weeks, I’ve already noticed my skin tone evening out and looking much brighter. One of my favorite things about this is that it’s really easy to add into your routine. You can use it every day in the morning and evening and it feels just like a moisturizer so it doesn’t leave your face feeling sticky or dry which is something I’ve experienced with some products in the past.

As a reminder, this is after about just 3 weeks! I don’t have any make up on in any of these photos! I can already see less brown spots on my forehead and cheeks and the red blemish scars on my chin have faded quite a bit!
