Well…it’s snowing AGAIN in Chicago. I don’t know why I was surprised to see it when I woke up this morning. Chicago weather has always had a mind of it’s own but this year it seems like winter really missed us here in the Midwest this year. Today I wanted to share my favorite faux fur vests because it’s perfect for a freezing cold week like the one we have ahead of us here in Chicago. Not only is this vest incredibly warm, but it’s also on the more casual side. Because fur vests tend to look a little dressier, I usually don’t wear them during the day, however, this one is a mix of faux fur and faux shearling which makes it more casual and perfect for everyday/weekend wear. I paired it with a blouse, jeans and booties for running errands but you could swap the jeans with some black dress pants and the booties with flats for a casual yet professional look.

I got my vest a few years ago and was really excited to see that LOFT brought it back this year in three more colors (black, grey and pink) that are all equally adorable. If you’re someone who loves a statement piece you definitely need to check this vest out in pink – I know I’ve got my eye on it! My blouse is also from LOFT which is where I always find the best work blouses. They fit really well, are reasonably priced and are always so versatile and easy to take from work to weekend! In fact, so many of LOFT’s pieces can be taken from work to weekend which is why I love them so much!
