I’m so excited that this week marks the official start of fall however the warm summer weather this past weekend is making me sad to say goodbye to summer. On Saturday, my friends and I laid out at Ryan’s apartment and he made us fish tacos for lunch – literally boyfriend of the year award. Later that night we all went to a gala. It was such a blast and I LOVED having an excuse to get dressed up. You can see what I wore to the Gala on my Instagram. I got tons of compliments on my dress which I borrowed from my sister – she has really great taste she just doesn’t know it. I’m searching for it online and will link it up here if I find the exact dress or similar options.
Anyways, it looks like the warm weather is going to stick around for a few more days so I’m taking advantage of the opportunity to get some more use out of my summer wardrobe. I love this time of year because it’s the perfect for shorts and a long sleeve like this navy and white look I’m featuring today. This sweater is currently on sale for under $40. My lace shorts are super old but I found a TON of similar styles that are actually cuter in my option. Those are all linked in the widget below.
I also wanted to note that this J.Crew sweater comes in a lilac color that is super similar to the top I’m wearing in this post. This ruffle top is on sale but only available in a few sizes. Although this J.Crew version doesn’t have ruffles it does have the adorable bow detail which still gives it that ultra-feminine look. I think this version is just as cute if you’re looking for a dupe.
