Sometimes there’s nothing better than a weeknight date night. I love having something to look forward to and its always nice to break up the work week grind with a cocktail and some good food. I also love any excuse to break out this adorable pom-pom basket bag.
I have been dying to share this bag because I am obsessed with every little detail of it. I had been on the hunt for a basket bag during a recent trip to Charleston but didn’t have any luck. I spotted this guy a few weeks later when my boyfriend, Ryan, and I were shopping. I’m pretty sure there were actual hearts in my eyes when I saw it. Ryan being the sweetheart that he is took note and a few weeks later gave it to me as a Birthday gift!
I was hesitant to really splurge on a basket bag but now that I have this I’ve realized how neutral it is and I am able to wear it with just about anything. The pom-poms add a little something extra to simple outfits like this one but they can also be removed if they don’t go with the rest of your look.
My peplum top (similar top linked) is BCBGMAXAZRIA Their stuff can be a little pricey but Macy’s always has really great sales all BCBG lines. They have some very pretty, classic pieces that can be worn to work and during the weekend.
My jeans were part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and they are SO comfortable. They were pretty tight at first but after one or two wears they fit me perfectly. This is my first pair of AGs but I think they are my new fave denim!
