I’m starting to feel ready for cooler fall days because I love to layer and that’s what these transitional seasons are all about. This is a super simple layered look that you can probably re-create with pieces from your own closet! However, these are the items I always stock up when getting ready for the fall season. A cute cami like this one is a great neutral piece to have on hand for any transitional season. It can be worn on its own with jeans or a skirt on a warmer day but it’s also a great layering piece to go under a suede jacket, cardigan or blazer. Another staple I can never seem to have enough of is cardigans. Whether I need something light weight to go over a sundress or a want something cozier to wear on a chilly fall or winter day, I always seem to find a reason for a new cardigan. I love having different color, weight and length options for jackets and cardigans to layer with.
I also love this look because it is an easy way to subtly incorporate falls biggest trend, leopard print! I wrote a whole blog post about that here and shared a few of my favorite leopard print items. Iff you’re someone who isn’t ready to step out in leopard print pants, you can start with something like this adorable hat that has a slight leopard print detail or a cute pair of leopard sandals, booties or sneakers. By the way, this hat was another birthday gift, shot out to my little sisters for this adorable find! If you’re looking to stock up on some of these transitional neutrals I’ve liked lots of great options below!
