This look was another from my trip to Banff. After LONG days of hiking I wanted to be as comfortable as possible but wanted to get out of my hiking clothes and get dressed at the same time.
You may recognize this pink twisted front tee from my black and white workout wear post last week. As I mentioned in that post, I packed pieces that I could wear at night for dinner and then again for a hike the next day. This tee was perfect. I sized up for a looser fit which made it super comfy but it also helped the twisted front to drape a little more giving it a dressier look. My go to cardigan was the perfect extra layer for the cooler evening temps.
You’ll probably recognize my jeans and booties from this post. These are currently my go to jeans, I love the lighter wash for summer. I was thrilled to be able to wear these booties a couple times on the trip since its not quite that time of year here in Chicago.
I also wanted to mention my necklace, which I am obsessed with. Anyone who is a fan of Kendra Scott probably recognized this from a mile away. I discovered that you can create custom pieces on her website. My sister made this one for me for Christmas last year and I wear it with EVERYTHING. Anyways, hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Mine is super hectic – its only Tuesday and I’m already counting down the minutes until Friday at 5 p.m.
