After a year and a half full of wedding celebrations I have more white dresses than I know what to do with! From wedding showers and my bachelorette party to our honeymoon, I bought every cute dress I saw, but now I’m realizing I don’t know when else I’m going to wear them! Every event or occasion I have coming up is for someone else’s wedding and I obviously am not going to wear white! So I thought I’d work on styling a few of my white dresses more casually so I can wear them to work or out for dinner with friends! I wore most of these dresses with heels and some statement earrings or a bracelet and found that simply by changing up my accessories I can easily give my white dresses a whole new look and feel!

From Errands to Date Night
This super comfortable skater skirt eyelet dress was so easy to dress down and is just as easy to dress up. I just threw on my favorite eyelet sneakers and a headband for a super casual and comfortable look to run errands in. The best part about this look is if you have plans after your errands and you’re from one thing to the next, you can just trade in your sneakers for some heels or wedges and you’re ready to go!

At the Office
This is one of my favorite ways to change up a dress. I love to throw a little button down shirt or sweater over it and it looks like a skirt and top combo! This is the same skater dress I was wearing above I just threw a lightweight gingham button down shirt over it and tied it at the waist. This is great look to wear to the office during the summer months! If your offie isn’t casual enough to wear sneakers a simple pair of flats would look adorable as well.

Summer BBQ or Brunch
This was one of my favorite dresses that I wore to one of my bridal showers. I absolutely adore the ruffle neck collar and the way it ties in a big bow in the back! Its such a fun dress and to do it justice you need to do your hair up. For my bridal shower I went with a dressier up do and some pearl hoop earrings. For shoes I just wore nude pumps. I am dying to wear this dress again because not only is it adorable, it’s also SO comfortable! To dress it down I threw my hair in a pony tail with one of my favorite J.Crew bow scrunchies and put on some fun summery sandals. This casual look is great for a summer bbq or brunch with girlfriends!

Transition to Fall
I think its safe to say that people are still wearing white after labor day now a days so I wanted to find a way I could rewear one of my white dresses this fall. This stunning lace dress is another favorite that I wore to my second bridal shower. The dress speaks for itself so for my shower I skipped the statement accessories to keep my look more elegant and not take away from the dress. To create this casual look and make it more appropriate for fall I added heavier accessories and textures. These suede booties and belt helped to create a completely new look! Just two accessories quickly took this look from elegant to bohemian.
For the sake of comparison, I included photos of me in all three dresses below to show you what they looked like dressed up!
