Sweater | Skirt | Shoes (Less expensive dupe here)
Happy Halloween Everyone! I donโt have anything super festive to share today but I do have a really fun pair of shoes which is just a good in my opinion. ๐
I took a little step out of my comfort zone with these new loafers. They were actually a surprise gift from my Aunt Jody who was visiting from New York the other weekend. I have to brag about her a little bit because she is a SUPER talented painter and also a SUPER Aunt. She got me an internship at Teen Vogue when I was just 17 and a few years later got me an internship at Isaac Mizrahi – talk about stepping out of your comfort zone!! Shes also just super fun and introduced me to some of my favorite designers. During one of my visits to see her – we toured the Oscar de la Renta showroom
Anyways, I have always loved the loafer trend on other people but didnโt have the confidence to try the trend out myself. My Aunt has an impeccable sense of style so I trust her. As soon as I got them on my feet and started trying them on with different looks, I fell in love. This was a great reminder that I should take a step out of my comfort zone more often โ sometimes you need someone else to help you do that I guess!
If YOUโRE looking to take a step out of your comfort zone, give a pair of these loafers a shot โ they will be super comfy at the very least ๐ and they look adorable with denim or a skirt and tights. Iโve linked several different loafer styles Iโm loving below including an almost exact (less expensive) dupe of the pair Iโm wearing.
I hope everyone has an amazing Halloween filled with tons of your favorite candy!
