- Basic Black Skirt: This is something that most people already have but you can make so many outfits out of a simple black skirt. If you don’t already have one or are looking for a new, refreshed style, this button skirt is adorable and has just the added flair needed to take your basic black skirt to the next level
- Tunic: A simple, cozy and comfortable tunic is a MUST for those cold gloomy days when you just want to be comfy. Tunics are great because they can disguise leggings and make them work appropriate. I love pairing a simple tunic like this one with a blanket scarf or layered over a collared shirt.
- Sweater Dress: I’ve already mentioned this a few times but sweater dresses are so on trend this winter. This sweater dress give a very work appropriate style a little extra flair. This is also a great option for holiday parties!
- Tote bag: If you’re in the market for a new tote bag like I am, I feel like some really great styles come out this time of year. If you’re not ready to splurge on one, definitely get it on your holiday wish list! ๐
- Essentials pouch: I’m always searching for stuff in my purse whether it be chapstick, lipstick, hand lotion, a Kleenex or a hair tie – I’m pretty much always in need of one of these things especially during the winter season. I have a little pouch in my work bag where I put my essentials so I can easily find them at any time.
- Black booties: When it comes to work shoes for the winter season, black is your best bet especially if you wear skirts and black tights as often as I do. Having a great pair of black booties will be the perfect finishing touch to any work outfit.
- Cozy wrap: I have this exact blanket wrap that is always draped over my office chair. It always comes in handy on those extra chilly winter days.
- Long Sleeve LBD: A long sleeve LBD is a major essential that will get you through the winter season. This is the long sleeve version of the dress I’ve raved about so many times. The long sleeve version looks adorable with OTK boots and a blanket scarf or black tights and pumps with statement jewelry for a dressier look.
- Sweater Blazer: The traditional blazer is taking a back seat this season. The sweater blazer is a more casual take on your standard blazer and is SO cozy for the winter season. I love this camel color because it will go with everything.
- Black (Velvet) Flats: Its no question that velvet is the fabric of the season. If you’re not totally into the trend but still want to try it out, these black velvet flats are perfect for you. Either way, a pointed toe flat is great for the office and as I said above you can’t go wrong with black!
