Spring 2018 Pantone Fashion Color Report
With Labor Day being the unofficial start to fall, everyone in Chicago is talking about cozy sweaters, boots and pumpkin spice lattes. However, in New York, spring fashion is the talk of the town. If you haven’t heard, New York’s Spring 2018 Fashion Week kicks off today! With that being said, I thought I’d take a ย break from fall fashion and talk a little bit about one of my favorite fashion trend forecasting tools. We all know Pantone for their color-creating and coordinating expertise however they also play a large part in color trend forecasting.
Yesterday, Pantone released a list of hues that they predict will be the hot ones for designers’ spring/summer 2018 collections. For a color lover like me, this is one of my FAVORITE trend reports to check out. It’s also pretty simple to understand and can be applied to ANY wardrobe.
This midi skirt was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the 2018 spring/summer Pantone color report. I’m SO excited that I’ll be getting another season out of it – it was one of my favorites from this spring/summer and I can’t wait to wear it again and pair it with new trends next season.
For those of you who want to get a head start on shopping these spring color trends I’ve linked up a few pieces that you can buy now below – there are a ton of great options that are on sale too!
