In the winter I get so tired of wearing black tights every time I wear a dress or skirt and honestly, the 5 year old in me still despises them. On top of it all, sometimes black tights just don’t work with your outfit color scheme. Instead of going for bare legs this winter, I invested in a pair of flat grey over the knee boots. Grey boots are perfect for your lighter colored skirts and dresses in the winter. I also love having a pair of flat over the knee boots becuase sometimes I feel like my heeled OTK boots are just way too over the top and can look a a little too “out on the town”.
If you haven’t noticed one of my favorite combinations is a flared or a-line skirt with a long flow sweater.ย Its so fun to play around with different combinations and I’ve found this to be one of the easiest ways to expand my closet and get more use out of a lot of pieces. This sweater and scarf would look totally different with a cute pair of light pink cords (like these) and nude pumps but it would look like you pulled together a whole new look! In fact, that look might make an appearance on the blog sometime soon. ๐
