Skirt | Sweater (similar) | Scarf | Clutch
I’ve expressed my love for midi skirts a few times already but now that fall is here I wanted to show you how to style this skirt length for the cooler temps, which is when you really need a little extra leg coverage.
I found this pretty pastel pink midi at Gap and its currently on sale for less than $60. Whoever decided that pink will be on trend for fall is my hero. Anyways, there are still a few sizes left in the pink shade but its also available in a gorgeous green and black. This midi has a pretty heavy lining underneath the silk-like top layer which makes it really warm.
Instead of pairing this midi with a tank or light weight blouse like I did for spring/summer I went with a thin knit sweater that I could tuck in. I purchased this sweater at H&M last year and I think I wore it at least once a week throughout the winter. They have a ton of amazing sweaters at a great price point. I’ve linked a few similar styles available at H&M below.
To accessorize I went with a lighter weight infinity scarf that was MADE to go with this skirt. There is a faint pink shade within the plaid pattern that matches perfectly. Plaid printed anything will instantly give your look all the fall feels. I love that this one incorporates more muted neutral tones as opposed to the browns, greens, reds and oranges you typically see in fall plaid prints. Regardless, I honestly don’t think you can ever have enough plaid scarves – I might have to invest in a few more for this season. Stay tuned to see what I find.
