After moving in with Ryan and realizing we both have A LOT of stuff I decided that I need to start organizing my wardrobe more by season so that I can store my bulky winter sweaters during the summer and vice versa. It’s actually been really helpful to not feel so overwhelmed when I look into my closet. I’ve recently started to sort out what will stay in my closet for the summer season but instead of just throwing all my sweaters into a box and calling it a day, I’ve tried to think about each piece and if I could repurpose it for the coming season. This sweater blazer was one that I decided would be a closet staple for every season. The way I’m wearing it here is my ideal casual Friday office look pretty much all year round but here’s how I see myself wearing it every season:
SPRING
This sweater blazer will look amazing with a pair of white pants and wedges on a chillier night. The neutral color is also super cute up against fun floral prints.
SUMMER
For the summer season I think this will look super cute with a white top featuring eyelet detailing and a white denim mini skirt. I’m also always freezing in the office during the summer so this is a perfect piece to have on hand if I get chilly.
FALL
I can’t wait to layer this over a cozy flannel this fall. I’m thinking I’ll pair it with a high waisted skirt and OTK boots.
WINTER
On those really chilly days this sweater blazer will look so chic over a neutral turtleneck with a pair of jeans or white pants for a neutral winter look. The nice thing about it is that its so roomy so you won’t feel stuffed layering it over another bulky piece.
I can’t say enough great things about this blazer and the best part is that it comes in SO many colors! I have my eye on the pretty pastel pink which I also think would be adorable at any time of the year.
