It’s been so warm in Chicago the past few days (or at least it feels warm compared to the last few weeks) and I’m loving it! Saturday was such a beautiful day and I realized how much I’ve missed seeing people out and about. It inspired me to go for a run outside on Sunday. It felt so great to get back out there!!
This warm weather has also inspired me to start mixing some of my favorite spring/summer pieces into my wardrobe especially because this is the time of year that I start getting sick of all my winter clothes. I’ve never been brave enough to wear white pants in the winter, not because of the no white after Labor Day rule but because I don’t trust myself in white pants around all the gross winter slush! However, I’m so glad I decided to try it out this season! I feel like its opened up so many cute outfit combinations in my wardrobe and I’m happy to say that I made it through the day stain free!
This long cardigan is one of my favorite recent purchases and its currently less than $40! It is SO soft, not itchy at all and this color is perfect for transitioning from winter to spring. I’m excited to be able to wear this with a cute, casual spring maxi dress and to find more ways to pair it with white pants or a pair of ripped denim! Its also perfect for cozying up in at home.
I wore this top on my Instagram last night and got a few questions about it. Unfortunately, it’s from Anthropologie from last summer, but I’ve linked some similar chiffon/tulle styles that have the same bohemian look below!
Hope everyone has an amazing week and fingers crossed for more warm weather!
